Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi.
This day is reserved for rest after your international flight. The remainder of the day is at leisure as you prepare for the start of your safari the following morning.

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive through the Great Rift Valley and Maasai countryside en route to the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Arrive in time for lunch and check-in.
In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in the Maasai Mara, home to the Big Five and vast herds of plains game including wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and antelopes spread across open savannah landscapes.

Spend a full day exploring the Maasai Mara ecosystem with morning and afternoon game drives.
The reserve offers some of the highest wildlife concentrations in Africa, with excellent chances of spotting lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, and buffaloes. During migration season, witness the dramatic wildebeest river crossings.
For guests seeking a once-in-a-lifetime experience, an optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise can be arranged, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush.

After breakfast, depart Tsavo East and drive back to Nairobi via the Mombasa Highway.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
